This bug is easy to reproduce: search for “virtual boy” in the iOS app. You might get about 40 results even with zero filters set. If you set the filter to ‘item location: worldwide’ you get even fewer results. With filters set to ‘Category: Video Games & Consoles’ and ‘Item Location: Worldwide’ the results are fewer than 5 listings.
This works the same wether you’re logged in or signed out.
the exact same searches with the exact same filters return thousands of listings on the website and the mobile website.
this is just the most egregious example. Generally speaking it seems that search results in the app are incomplete. I feel like I can’t ise the app to shop in its current state because I have zero confidence that the results are complete.
i have a screen recording of the bug in action if that’s helpful, but the issue is so easily reproducible I doubt the recording will be needed. I hope the issue can be addressed quickly.
