Search Issue on App?

This started happening recently where when I search for an item the search bar keywords will revert back to the previous search while pulling up the current results. Like I search for "sterling silver cup" the search will pull up results while at the same time the search bar keywords go back to the previously searched item. It's frustrating because if I want to add or remove keywords to the search I have to fully retype all keywords. I've used the app for many years and never run into this issue. Anyone else having this happen? Any way to fix it?

The most recent version of the app (6.239.0.2 for Android, not sure the iOS version number) has lots of issues related to search at the moment. Problems with the keyboard and cursor in particular.

You can report app issues to eBay by shaking your device while the app is active.

Until eBay releases a new app version to address the current issues, try searching using a mobile browser and saving searches that way.

Use a browser until eBay updates the app.

looks like the problem is fixed.  Went to Google play store and ran the update for Ebay.  It worked.
