Refund

My only problem with this app is that I applied for an eBay card and was declined due to financial instability. I paid for a vehicle $700 and still have not gotten a refund. This company right now is in debt to me and if I do not receive my refund I am reporting it to the police and the federal trade commission. Your money back guarantee has failed thus far which is false advertisement. This is a lawsuit. I am not impressed with the way eBay does business and also will not be writing a good review for it. Return my $700.

How did you pay for this vehicle and why are you asking for a refund?

This looks more like the old eBay will handle the transaction, you get some eBays gift cards and give me the codes, then I will release the car for shipping. Probably you spotted the car on some other online non-eBay related web site. Sir, you have been scammed and will never see those $700. Let this be a lesson to you, never, never give your card # to anyone, this gives them access to it and empties the $. eBay has absolutely nothing to do with this.

Just a few questions:  Where was this vehicle actually listed for sale? If it was on eBay, there should be a listing number.  Please share that number.

It does sound like you have fallen for a rather common scam which doesn't involve eBay at all, although you were told to pay with eBay gift cards.

Also, did you know that eBay's Money Back Guarantee doesn't cover motor vehicles? You were supposed to go to the location of the car and check it out first before paying.  You would then have exchanged the payment for the keys and title.  If the car was not satisfactory, you could have simply walked away.

Please return here and give details of EXACTLY what happened.

And, BTW, the "company", presuming you mean eBay, is not in debt to you, the seller is.  Whether or not you will get your money back is highly questionable, no matter how many entities you will be reporting to.

Yes it does involve eBay. I looked up your corporate number, called eBay with the order number and was told that it checked out and proceeded to make a transaction from there. I don’t care what y’all say. EBay is responsible for that.
