I’m not sure if this is an iOS app specific question but here seems a good place to ask the question - Having long since put my aging desktop computer in the store cupboard, these days I use my iPad for just about everything. However due to the problem with the eBay app - this being it’s basically rubbish - I’d like to use eBays ‘classic site’ to do my buying and selling instead. However nearly every time I try to do anything - like rely to the message I just read, or check out someone’s feedback - I find myself redirected to app to complete this. It happens in both Safari and Chrome, tho I’m not sure about other browsers. It’s beyond annoying to find your back at the place you’re actively trying to avoid and is the main reason I hardly bother to list anything on eBay these days. Does anyone know how to make it stop?

To prevent eBay browser links from opening in the app:
If you have a Chromebook, open Chromebook Settings, and select Apps. Select "Manage your Apps". From there go to eBay: More Settings: Advanced: Open by default: Open supported links: "Don't open in this app". Then back out of the settings and you should be all set.
If you have an iOS device, try holding down the link -- you should see some options about how the link is opened that should be remembered for the next time you open such a link.
