Did anyone ever find a solution to this problem. This only became a problem when I got a Galaxy S8.

I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S9+ running Samsung experience version 9.0 and I've been running Android "Oreo" version 8.0.0, haven't checked for updates lately but may be ready for Android "Pie".
Edit: checked for software updates, none available.
