Quantity issues with "Make an offer"

So twice now in the last month I've reached out to the buyers themselves about this issue and by the time we come to a resolution someone else has come through and purchased the lot.

The BUG im running into is when sellers have multiple items listed with a "Make an offer" option, I'll adjust the quantity to meet what I need and set a price, then when I try to submit it tells me my price is higher than the buy it now price. However if I set the price of a single item and adjust the quantity to 2 it still doesn't adjust the total.

Am I missing something or is this a BUG for anyone else as well?

Quantity issues with "Make an offer"

Thanks for surfacing this. Could you please share an item number for an item you are getting this error and some screen shots of the error. You can send this to androidhelp@ebay.com and we will look into it.

Looking into this. Are you setting the offer price for the entire quantity of items you are trying buy? You might need to set the price for the individual item.

Example

Item 20 dollars

Offer 18 dollars for quantity 2

or are you trying

Offer 36 dollars for quantity 2 - this will give an error

Thanks

Quantity issues with "Make an offer"

The items have since been sold so I'm not sure what the item numbers were.

Yes, I attempted both methods but once submitted it looked to the seller that I was trying to get, to use your example, 2 items for $18 and was declined. Unless that was an error on the sellers part, I wouldn't have seen that specifically.
