Purchased items showing unavailable

On my iPad items that have been purchased are showing a heading of unavailable. There is no way that I have found to be able to delete these items from my purchased list. Once an item has been delivered I no longer want to see it.  There appears to be no way to get rid of it. When clicked on just stays there. Any help welcome..
