A problem that's been there unresolved for years. The search function for items is super limited & based off your sort selection. There may be 3,000 relevant items for your search but you'll only see a hundred or so max (approximate). I miss the old sort with the ability to put so many items per page and flip the page yet see them all. This seriously hinders shopping for those unusual items you dig for. It is extremely obvious because when you change the sort there is items missing. Also, I used ebay a ton prior to this issue and noticed how much less relevant results I was getting right away. I feel like, without having a clue, the results may have some sort of AI system interfering. I'd like to see the full results list to be able to find the rare hard to find stuff better. I have seen the same problem on ebay in multiple systems, on everyone's phone I've ever seen, and multiple phones of various brands and types of my own.
