Problem viewing full relevant search results list.

A problem that's been there unresolved for years. The search function for items is super limited & based off your sort selection. There may be 3,000 relevant items for your search but you'll only see a hundred or so max (approximate). I miss the old sort with the ability to put so many items per page and flip the page yet see them all. This seriously hinders shopping for those unusual items you dig for.  It is extremely obvious because when you change the sort there is items missing.  Also,  I used ebay a ton prior to this issue and noticed how much less relevant results I was getting right away.  I feel like, without having a clue,  the results may have some sort of AI system interfering.  I'd like to see the full results list to be able to find the rare hard to find stuff better.  I have seen the same problem on ebay in multiple systems, on everyone's phone I've ever seen, and multiple phones of various brands and types of my own.  Take special note this has been this way for years and years now.  thanks

The item your search for or the sort you pick makes no difference.  You can pick any sort and you'll see a limited another of items.  I suggest searching for any common item,  like a coffee cup maybe or shirt.  After you pick one of those common items (which you know there should be thousands of) try sorting from priced highest to lowest and you will never see the lowest priced item at the bottom of the list or many of them missing and then sort from priced lowest to highest and you may not see the highest priced items or many of the middle ones missing that were there.  Been this way for possibly a decade or so.  I know cause I've spent way more time than the average person ever does searching I can assure you and have used ebay for a very long time.  It's almost as though there's an AI picking which items it wants you to see for each search instead of a full list if I had to guess but that's for ebay to decide.  I'm pretty well about 100% sure there's items missing from these searches and has been for a long while now.  Maybe it has to do with the AI trying to list preferred sellers first? I'm not sure, be interested in knowing but I'd love for it to be fixed! Thanks
