Payment for return item

Never received my money for my return item! It said it would be sent to my pay pal. Mind you never had a pay pal till after it said it sent it to my pay pal. Set up a pay pal to see if it would send the money to there but nothing. Where would the money have gone? Back on my credit card that I used to purchase item off eBay?

You can not expect the refund to go to a PayPal Account you did not have.  So setting up a new account means nothing as for the refund going there.

Who said it would go to PayPal?

Did you follow eBay's procedures for getting the refund or did you just return it on you own?

Maybe the refund went back thru PayPal because the payment went thru PayPal.  You refund is suppose go back to the funding source.

If you paid using a credit card, the refund will go back there.

It could take a few weeks for the refund to show up in your account.
