Oops something went wrong when accepting an offer?

Recently when I try to accept an offer from a seller i get an “oops something went wrong” which is very frustrating. I am using an iPhone 11 with IOS 14.8.1

Are you using a mobile browser or the eBay app? Try both methods to accept the offer.

Can you accept the offer from a desktop computer?

If not, verify that the item is still listed and still available. If it is a no-reserve auction item, verify that the auction has not received a bid. Once a bid has been placed or reserve has been met, outstanding offers are no longer valid.

Perhaps the seller sent multiple offers and someone else took advantage before you did, or someone else purchased the item or placed a bid. Or the item is no longer available for another reason.

If none of those apply, perhaps you do not meet the seller's Buyer Requirements, or the seller is not set up to receive your payment.

Same story but with android eBay App. it says something went wrong when trying to respond to counteroffer.

Is your app up to date @dudleyjones45 ?

Can you log in through the browser on your phone and try from there?

I have the same problem. Try another browser (Firefox, Chrome, Google) or use a computer. 

Been a known issue for many months now. I call CS and they open a ticket. Usually fixes it within a few days and then boom back to not working. 

I have given up on calling.
