No longer getting notifications on my phone

Hi.  I happened to be looking at my ebay account on my PC and noticed I had a sale. However, I never received ANY type of notification on my phone (a OnePlus 8t Android phone). 

I did not make any changes to my phone and verified I have all push notifications enabled, as well as Selling notifications. Any idea why I didn't receive any notifications? I also usually get a notification when the item has been paid for. I received ZERO notifications on my phone for this last sale.

What happens when you use the Diagnose Notifications tool?

Open your eBay app, go to Settings, select Notifications, scroll to the bottom and select that.

When it runs, I do get the test notification it sends. And I did verify I have "All push notifications" enabled. See pics below:

The results of that test indicate that there are at least three settings that can affect your notifications that are stopping some notifications: Notifications for your device; notifications for the eBay app; and your silent notification setting.

Follow the links shown in your diagnostic to change those settings.

Sorry. I meant to note that I did double check settings in those links. I do have some things disabled, but nothing that would affect notifications related to sales. Any other ideas?

Try undoing those settings so that you when you run the diagnostic, you get only checkmarks and no exclamation notices.

When I enable everything, it passes as expected. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the eBay and ran the test with everything at its default. The notifications test passed. I'll monitor for now and see if this fixes the problem.

I’ve been having the same problem on my iPhone, and it’s very frustrating. I checked the settings, and they should be allowing notifications, but I didn’t get any for my last sale either. I’m glad I’m not the only one experiencing this problem.

Does anyone know of a solution? Or should I contact eBay directly?

I'm having the same issue as the original poster. I'm on Android 15, and I missed out on an auction because I didn't get any push notifications. I've run all the diagnostic tests, and they came back with the same results as the OP. I'm going to try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
