For a few days now I am able to see any ne listings show up when searching for items. On the app. I thought it was odd that nothing new was being listed so I used a browser to search and all the new listings were there.
I have logged out and reinstalled the app without any success. It will be hard to use the app if I can’t see new listings.
This seems to have been timed with the most recent update.

I had the same issue for a over 2 months.
all of a sudden my litsings were not showing in the search results on the ebay app.
I've solved the problem now though. Ebay have decided to change their photo size requirements for mobile apps & they've simply not told anyone!
When you list & item now you MUST click on "mobile phone freindly checker" & if you're photo's are not the rquired size ebay will show a message in red stating this to be the case.
You must then click on "fix it"....ebay will then reszie your images to the new specifications.
You then need to click save.
then you can list. Your item will then appear on mobile apps.
I've lost thousands of pounds in turnover due to ebay's negligence. They should have told us or atleast built in some redundancy when you list an item to notify the seller that the listing is not mobile app compatible. I listed auctions that sold for peanuts because the only people that could view them were those sat on a pc or a laptop. As we all know 99% of purchases nowadays are via mobile apps.
Please feel free to post this message across the net as I have seen so many discussions on this topic.
If ebay make such a huge change to their photo specifications to the extent that listings will not appear on mobile apps if they're not the right size then surely on gods green earth they must feel it appropraite to email all users with this crucial peice of information.
what a disgrace
