My address is changed but whenever I post a listing it defaults to to my original old address.

I moved states and updated my address months ago in my every setting; account, seller, and buyer. Whenever I post something for sale, it still lists as being shipped from my original state. This costs me money. Because a buyer in my original state isn’t paying actual shipping from my new state.

Use a desktop browser and make sure all the addresses here are up to date:

https://accountsettings.ebay.com/uas/addresses

When you list, be sure you are using the correct postal code and not just making a copy of an old listing that may have an old postal code in it. Try creating a new listing rather than using "sell similar".

All five categories have my current up to date (Florida) address.

I made a brand new listing, not using any templates, et... It still indicates the item shipping from my old out of date (California) address.

It's annoying since the 2,500 mile difference cost me $12 in lost shipping price.

Before you list the item you need to correct that field in the listing itself.

I believe you can find that near the bottom of the listing form. Go to "item location" underneath exclude shipping locations and click "change".
