Mobile app tracking number scan NOT WORKING

The previous recent Ebay app update didn’t fix the mobile app tracking number scanner. Once you scan the barcode, it doesn’t update.. still gotta manually input the tracking number. 

Please fix!

when will the next update be?. because your previous update states the fix of this issue but it was NEVER fixed.

That was a different barcode scanner issue that was when you were listing items. This one is for tracking items.

Should be available over the next month, or email us if you want it early.

Can you let us know what kind of tracking numbers you are trying to scan and what country you are located in.

I am in Australia and it is the new square type codes see picture.

It’s now October & this problem hasn’t been fixed. Your offering something that doesn’t work & it’s so time consuming to have to input tracking numbers manually. I can’t imagine how businesses feel when they have hundreds of orders to process!

No reply yet! Very interesting. But still not fixed. It’s really frustrating. It’s such a simple ask. Australia post’s phone app can scan the codes you posted a screenshot of Fiona, eBay’s a big company, surely they have a Tech crew. 

Why has it taken so so long to sort this out?
