I am extremely frustrated that the android app does not show items that are visible while searching eBay via Android browser (in mobile mode).

Are others having similar problems?

I will be switching back to a laptop until this gets resolved.

Can you provide an example of an item that you can see in the browser but not in the app?

I notice you are registered in Canada. Are you searching ebay.ca or ebay.com?

What items are visible can depend on your shipping address. Items that don't have shipping specified to a particular location will not be shown. Are you using the same default shipping location in your browser and app?

That said, there are some locations that result in known search problems, particularly Hawaii, Alaska, non-state US Territories, US Armed Forces locations.

I am logged in on both the cases. Which is why i am allowed to add & watch it from two different apps.

I added this item in my watch list from the browser on my mobile on eBay.Com.

Could not find it on my eBay app.

It should not matter if it is ebay. Com, eBay. Ca all results should be shown.

Address should not be a reason not to show. The current setup warns me that it will not ship to my location if i try to bid /purchase.

The item above is from NY, thus should not be an issue for me.

I can see that item using both browser and app.

But I note that the item ships only to the US, so that is what I would have expected in any case.

It's been my experience that shipping address matters in determining which items appear in a given search. But I do notice that if I sign on to ebay.ca and change my shipping country to Canada, I can still see that item. It has a note that shipping time is not specified and that it may not ship to Canada, though. I'm not sure how the app handles that, as it is not as simple to change shipping country in the app as it is in a browser.
