Hello. What does the attached message error mean? I’m trying to message a seller for some after-sales question, but I get this message error reading “Messaging is turned off for sneakers covered by Authenticity Guarantee”. Please let me know how can I reach out to the seller?

Scroll down and choose "completed items" to see the items the seller has that have ended. From that page you should be able to choose the seller's feedback or profile page and reach a "contact" link that way.

Glad i'm not the only one. I've been in panic mode since paying 165 pounds for some trainers for my sons b'day.  Have messaged off his other items but not had a reply.  Fingers crossed they turn up even though they will be late.   They will make his year.

This is ridiculous because sometimes I buy things quickly (buy it now) and accidentally use my address instead of the person I'm buying it for, so I contact the seller with the correct address.  Now, I have to cancel the sale.  Ugh...Dumb move Ebay...

Who are you using to consult for these kind of boneheaded decisions?

Sellers that complied with your request were taking a big risk; without shipping that shows delivery to the original location, the seller would automatically lose an "item not received" case with eBay. And once authentication is involved, the seller cannot change the address at all.

Many scammers send messages to sellers requesting that shipments be diverted to another location. You probably would not be happy with the seller if one of your orders was sent elsewhere by a scammer's request. Sellers should be wary of such requests, even when they originate with the same account that placed the order.

Take an extra moment during checkout to verify that you are using the correct address before confirming the order to save yourself (and the seller) from the potential hassle of needing to cancel and repurchase. Your sellers will appreciate your attention to detail.

Not being able to message the buyers directly is poor all around on eBay’s part .. because of this I’m unable to reach out and ask to please leave feedback for me .. I haven’t gotten any feedbacks the last couple sales

This is so unprofessional to do what are you thinking eBay? I am trying to cancel an order and I love how it says ‘Unable to cancel order, message the seller directly to see if you can work something out!’

Then after messaging them it says ‘Messaging is turned off for sneakers covered by Authenticity Guarantee”

They haven’t even been shipped or authenticated yet and I still cannot even contact the seller.

Mine is currently being shipped to wrong address also. Contacted seller through another listing he has but don’t know if that will help if it’s in eBay’s hands. Any idea how they handle this situation?
