Recently while using the eBay app to list an item, the app is pulling details from the title to fill into the details. I’m assuming it is designed with the spirit of making our lives easier by answering 1 less of the 1,000 “recommended” questions we are expected to complete. However, it is often wrong and if I correct the detail you override it is automatically changed back. It would be nice if we had the ability to turn that feature on or off until you iron out the kinks; especially given the fact that if the details are wrong it’s our responsibility. Shoes that come with a box are not necessarily for boxing (one example). Perhaps a simple straightforward conversion like auto populating various shoes sizes is more within the scope of the current technology. Because I right now, it does a lousy job with auto populating based on inference and on top of that, it then overrides when I make a correction.

Thanks for posting. Could you give us a specific example of a listing you started and which option you selected from the list. Some screen shots could be helpful for us to look into this. Please send them to iosfeedback@ebay.com.
Thanks

I just spent 15 minutes typing a reply then clicked send and got the message I attached here. I will re type everything on a computer. Maybe the challenge is eBay trying to integrate with iOs.
