According to a post on the UK community boards, the latest version of the eBay app requires Android 10 or later, or iOS 17 or later.

If you cannot upgrade your operating system or find an older version of the app that works with your current operating system, you should still be able to use a browser to go to ebay.co.uk instead.

If eBay browser links are opening in the Android version of the app automatically, you can disable that by going to your device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Opens supported links and choosing "Don't open in the app". iOS users can tap and hold an eBay browser link and choose "Don't open in the app".

Hi im sooo not technical but ive managed to get into ebay app with my old Samsung S7 edge!!, i went to Samsung internet and then it told me to sign into Google, i searched for ebay uk login and logged in....and im in!! Im not sure how im in but im in!! 🤣🤣 i just hope it works for others let me know??
