Lack of support when being defrauded

My first purchase with the seller went well. After that first transaction, the seller messaged me with an offer to sell me the 6 more “new signs” through PayPal to bypass eBay fees.  I never saw that message until I backtracked my communications due to the issue with the second transaction.

He later listed those same 6 “new signs” he messaged about. The post was misleading and described the signs as “new.” They were used, defaced, corners damaged by shipping, and not worth the $600 I paid.

How am I expected to send back the signs to a obvious fraudster and liar? What’s worse is that eBay won’t contact me, but will send me auto messages I can’t reply to scaring me into sending the signs back before it’s too late. Too late to give him my money and the signs? This is the 3rd unresolved issue where eBay allowed a user to lie to me. I would sincerely appreciate a call from a supervisor please.

@hxtb6434

Did you open a case in the Resolution Center?

If you did, did the seller send you a return shipping label?

Have A Great Day.

@hxtb6434 This is not eBay itself, this is a forum for other buyers and sellers. You have purchased an item on a platform that offers a money back guarantee so you have nothing to worry about. Just follow the procedures for a return. Yes of course you will be required to ship back the signs if you want a refund, that's how things work. You don't get your money returned plus get to keep the signs, regardless of how badly they look. You have a guarantee for your money back from eBay.

If you didn't receive the item as described, then you simply open an item not as described case and follow the procedures for a full refund. Very simple. Best of luck to you....
