I want a way to turn off notifications for watched items, other than to stop watching.

Sigh. I just want to browse in peace no notifications no reminders that I might mistake for a sale notification. They either need to give us a way to turn off notifications or I will just stop keeping a watched list,

Thanks for the post. To turn off watched item notifications you can do the following.

1. Open app

2. Tap My eBay

3. Tap Settings

4. Tap notifications

5. Tap Buying

6. Turn of Item Ending notifications

What if there is no choice to do #5 and #6, only to turn notifications on or off under device settings?

It just turns off notification about ending item. But we are still being spamed with countless of watch reminder messages.

This still isn’t fixed, it’s absolutely obnoxious. I’ve gotten spammed with 5 notifications on watched items in the last 10 minutes and have the settings you suggested turned off.

Yeah definitely still happening on watched items. Either have to turn off notifications altogether or deal with notification spam or unwatch everything

As of the last few days, notifications are also being received for saved searches that specifically have phone notifications turned off – perhaps the two issues are related?

I’d also like to turn these notifications off, I’m waiting for a seller to contact me so I can pick up my purchase and I keep getting meaningless watched item reminders. They create to high a noise ratio in the messages.

I too find this very frustrating. Has anyone found a solution? It appears to have started as a result of updating to the latest application version released for IOS last week.

I’m almost at the point where I will uninstall the app on both my iPad and iPhone and work without it.

See if this works:
Go to:

-My eBay

-Account tab

-Site preferences (on the left tab)

-Under: "Buying alerts on eBay pages"... (towards the bottom of the page)

...there is a small box you can uncheck - hopefully that does it.

(will have to wait and see if that did it or not - don't know yet)
