Giving invalid vouchers

I was doin my thing in eBay like lookin for stuff and suddenly I got this $5 off voucher so after I found my was in the cart it didn’t work it says it’s invalid.

I've had this happen to me. It turned out that I wasn't logged in when I started searching, so eBay thought I was a new buyer, and the $5 voucher was only for new buyers, to try to convince them to give eBay a try. Once I logged in, it wasn't valid any more.
