Frequent crashes

Phone is reporting frequent crashes from the Ebay app and affecting battery life.

Which version of the eBay app are you using?

You may want to try uninstalling the eBay app, restarting your device, and then installing the latest version (6.3.0.10) of the eBay app from the Google Play Store.

I installed and reinstalled but it's still been crashing.

Did you restart your device between uninstalling and re-installing? That ensures a clean install.

What version of the app are you using? You can check which version by starting at your device's settings manager, then going to Apps and selecting eBay from the list. The version number should appear at the top.

If you are having difficulty getting the latest version of the app, make sure you have a recent version of Google Play Store and Google Play Services:

Yes I restarted. I am using version 6.3.0.10

Thanks for reporting this. Are you doing anything specific when the app crashes? If you sign out of the app does it continue to crash?

No infact most of it is happening in the background.

Can you try updating to the newest release from this week and let us know if it is still crashing in the background.

The new version seem to have fixed the problem. I cant tell for sure because this might be only temporary, sometimes in a few weeks or months the problem reoccurs.
