I’ve NEVER sold through eBay, only purchased. I have a lot of Pokémon cards I was going to sell until I got an offer for $10,000 and noticed eBay wanted over $1,000 of my money for selling them on EBay. $1,000 is 90% of the profits I would’ve made from the sale. So EBay thanks for showing me how greedy you are, been a loyal customer for YEARS but now I must move on to a new company who doesn’t want 90% of the profit from the sellers. I see now why EBay has gone from the “best” to the absolute worst when it comes to selling items. Lower your fees before more people leave! 12.9% plus 9% if you want to boost your item. What a joke!

try this again: you think eBay does all this for free?
You need to learn the fees prior to selling.
Fees are charged for promotions, some items listing, and of course the final value fees:
Variable final value fees are charged on the total you receive : the final value of the item: plus shipping if any: plus tax if any.
Then the variable fee is calculated.
There is the fixed fee as well, such is .30.
Additional fees can be international transaction fee as well.
Your 90 percnet received you calculated you will find is low.

How did you come up with 90%?
$1000 would only be 10%.
Ken did the same hence the delete: that is what they receive is 90 percent...
