Ebay iOS app photo view change

Hello, I used to find the Ebay app very useful for quickly looking at listing photos all the time. However, since the update there is no longer the view of all photos in a grid by default. Instead in order to choose a photo to look at you have to click on the photos icon in the top-right corner!

This change was likely made to make the experience more like on desktop, I can see that, but for me it’s the antithesis of mobile shopping app design. The only thing I would get from customer support would be just pathetic acknowledgment of this as something I just don’t like about the app. So sorry if I’m miffed about it, the old view was what made the app great and I’m gonna have to say, I’m removing, deleting it and going back to shopping in the stone age on my laptop.

I enjoy my eBay app on my iPhone. I have no problems with looking at anything. There was an update this year on my eBay app. I also like the fact I can do instant payments from my phone in minutes. And just a note eBay app uses more juice on your phone than any other app.

How do I change it back?  I liked the grid on my Ipad.

If you are using the eBay app and search results are shown in a format where a single item takes up most of the screen, go to your Filter menu and scroll down to the View options to choose between Gallery view, List view, or the single-item-per-screen view.

Sometimes an eBay update will change your preferences and you must go back and set them again.
