Ebay app not working on new Xiaomi Redmi Note 7?

Having the same issue using the eBay app on my new phone.  It's telling me I need to download the latest app, which is the one I have.  Anyone else have a solution, other than the common steps Ebay suggest.  I've already tried all of those with no luck.

same here, saying download latest  app even though im running the latest app from the play store.
