EBay app on iPhone does not work

For the past two days my app on my iPhone will not log in. It keeps on spinning at the Face ID point, tries to log in, then reverts to trying over and over again. When I turn Face ID off it requests my username and password but when I enter them it’s says incorrect information and after just one attempt says you have exceeded your daily attempts please try tomorrow. How the hell is anyone supposed to buy from their phone if the app isn’t working. EBay have been messing with us for years but during these slow sales periods it’s just not acceptable. Is anyone else having this issue? I have asked a few people and they have the issue too.

Just wondering if you were eventually able to log back in thru the app because Im having the same issue. Its been over 24 hours for me and I haven’t been able to.

Hi eventually it corrected itself but it still does it sometimes. Can’t understand why it happens but could also be a reason for poor sales as people can’t access their app.
