Doesn’t allow to enter items picked up under local pick

I sold 2 items listed local pickup, a gentleman bought both items paid with PayPal, eBay put a 21 day HOLD ON MY FUNDS! I’ve been on eBay for about 5 years! Then after the guy picked up the items I went to put in that they were picked up n it wants to scan the **bleep** bar code!

For local pickup now, Ebay emails the buyer a smart phone scannable QR code and a 6-digit number that they must print out and show you at the time of pickup.  That way you know it is the buyer.  The buyer shows you the receipt with the code. You scan the code into your ebay account if you have a smart phone or enter the six digit number on your computer.  This proves the buyer picked up the item.  Ebay is satisfied the buyer picked up the item.  You get paid.
