Deleting My Summary Items

I would like to delete ended items, purchased items, etc.  How can I do this?  I tried to swipe left and right but not working.

Also anybody else having trouble with slow loading using an iPad?

Thanks for the post. If you swipe on the item there should be a delete button that shows. If this is not working you can also tap EDIT in the upper right corner and this will allow you to remove items.
