I updated my PayPal email via PayPal. Now when I sell something, it gets paid to the old email address. Ebay told me to contact PayPal but they weren’t able to do anything. The buyer had to Venmo me. Should be an easy fix like signing back into my PayPal.

You need to update your current listings to make sure that the correct email address is included in each so that future payments go to the correct account.
If you are unable to collect current payments to the old address and no one else can either, those payments should be refunded to the buyer automatically at some point.
