Cannot install eBay app on ios 26.1 (iphone 17)

I upgraded to a new iPhone and the eBay app will not install on my new phone — the app store shows the (cloud arrow) icon (instead of the Get button) and when I push it, it spins for a second and then does not install.

Has anyone else seen this?

Did you try rebooting your phone?

Did you go to your home screen, then swipe all the way right to access your app library and see if eBay is there but offloaded?

The download icon (cloud/arrow) you're seeing is what appears when your apple ID has downloaded the app in the past. You only see "get" on free apps you've never downloaded and "open" on apps already downloaded on your device.

Same thing is happening to me.  Yes, I have restated the phone.  No, the app is not offloaded.  There is simply an error downloading it which is not reported as usual for Apple.
