Cannot delete items from “Watching” list on iOS app

Since the most recent app update, it is impossible to delete items from the “Watching” list on iOS app version 5.17.0. The following error appears:

“Watch item error

None of the items have been removed from the watch list (Trading.20820)”

This has only been present since updating to app version 5.17.0. Please can you fix this immediately.

Updated search list is working now.
Still can’t delete items from watch list. And profile still won’t load. The profile issue has been going on for over a year. I contacted CS last year and never heard back.

It’s very annoying! Can’t get rid of watch list now can’t access my purchased items. What is going on??

I’ve found that if you open the item you’re trying to delete, click ‘unwatch’, come out of the app and force a close (double click your home button then swipe up the eBay app page) it has gone when you open the app again. Annoying but at least it works.

Hi I love eBay and I’m having a problem with the app on iPhone where  I go one my watching list but I got to delete something I watching and I do delete it but within seconds it comes back could you help me with this problem thanks Miss D Jones

Thank you for the post. We are aware that some items are not deleting properly from the watchlist. We will have this working better in the next update.

Really annoyed right now because I can't delete watched items that I'm no longer interested in. No matter how many times I try they are still there and I get an error. I can delete them from my laptop but they still show on my phone in the ap. Please fix this!

There was an update yesterday and it still doesn’t work. This is ridiculous. It’s been like this for weeks now. People shouldn’t have to keep logging on to a pc in order to delete things. This should of been fixed by now. It’s very annoying
