I've been using the Android app lately to do some listings and noticed a problem. When I select flat rate or free shipping and then attempt to select a generic shipping method, i.e. standard, expedited, economy, the whole shipping section clears and makes me start over. I'm using Android 11 with the latest updates and the latest eBay app version. The problem is forcing me to use the website, which works fine by the way, to complete the listing, which is a bit of a pain.
Another somewhat related thing is that I can't even see generic shipping methods unless I select flat or free shipping. Which means I have to first make sure a specific carrier/method is selected, then select flat or free in the next section, then go back to the carrier/method section to try to select standard or expedited or economy, only for the system to reject this combination and clear everything.
What's going on here?
