It seems the choice to search SOLD items from an image search is not appearing on the app. Is anyone else having trouble with this? I'm not talking about my own sold items, I'm talking about finding comp info from an image search. Any info on this would be great!

Yes, I realize it's not "currently possible" thus my question. I'd like to know why it was possible yesterday (and the day before that, and the day before that,...) and is not possible today. Is this a change in the app? And, if so, why?

The option to view sold items directly from an image search in the eBay app has been taken away.

You can still search for active listings using an image search. Or sold items via a keyword search.

There is a workaround to view sold items via image search which may be useful if you intend to do several in a row. First, make sure you have enabled "Lockable Filters" in the Filter Customize menu from your search results. Then perform a keyword search, and select "Sold" items in the Filter menu. You should see a padlock icon next to the filter option -- tap the padlock icon so it closes and turns blue to lock that filter option. Now all your searches should provide "sold" results by default until you change that filter setting again.

Now perform an image search and you should see "sold" items by default.
