Bug fixes? BUG FIXES?!?!

This upgrade sorts out bug fixes apparently. For the second time in a week this upgrade has been applied without warning meaning that I am unable to use the app. My phone does not support iOS 17 (the minimum required to run the upgraded app) and yet I am unable to continue to use the old version, effectively meaning I am unable to access my eBay account via the app. I can’t even go on to eBay to buy a new phone… because I can’t get onto the app. Not fair, eBay - we aren’t all spotty techies who insist on having the most up to date equipment. Some of us don’t want to contribute to landfill by replacing tech that works perfectly well. Be prepared for a backlash if you continue to insist on this. You may have a large chunk of the market, but you don’t have the sort of power that you seem to think you have. You are in competition with the likes of Amazon, Etsy etc and you may just find that people drop you like a stone if you continue to insist on pushing through your “upgrade” to force people into obsolescence. Be warned.

Bug fixes? BUG FIXES?!?!

Instructions here: How to update your eBay app

- Requires Android 10 or better
- Requires iOS 17 or better, but there are directions for iOS 16 users to download an older version of the app

If you're on iOS 15 and cannot update to a compatible OS then you can still access eBay from a web browser on your device, and you'll probably want to delete the app so links open in your browser instead of the app.
