Barcode scanner in app no longer works

I'm on Android and ever since the recent update I can no longer scan the barcode to enter the tracking info for my shipments. 

It just gives me a 2 second camera not responding then goes back to your sold page

Mine is doing that too! 

But on another android phone I have with the Ebay app it will bring up the barcode scan "box"  but when you scan the barcode  the results bring up a  ALERT window saying  The query must have a least a keyword, category ID, EPID (ebay product ID), IBSN, event Id or UPC.  

Error type 243012

SO It's NOT just the phone....when it's happening on 2 different phones!

Well DUH i was scanning a UPC!!!

THiS IS GOING ON THE SECOND DAY for me!!

Same here. I am no longer able to scan barcodes but can still take item pictures ok; I get the same error as the other posters. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S7.

Just received an update to the app on my Android device and barcode scanner is working again.
