App will not let me log in

The eBay app will not let me log in. It keeps saying something is wrong. Whenever I try using Face ID it keeps saying they’re running into a problem. I’ve tried clearing the cache then deleting the app, restarting my phone and reinstalling the app to no avail. I have an iPhone 16 pro with eBay app version 6.216.0. Any ideas? Thanks.

Log in with your password instead of face ID. Once you're logged in, shake your phone to submit a tech report regarding facial recognition login.

I tried doing that too and the app keeps saying something is wrong.

eBay typically releases app updates weekly, so check again for the next update. It's typically on Mondays, but sometimes Tuesdays or sometimes over the weekend. Maybe the issue will be cleared with the next update. In the meantime you can use the website from your phone's browser.
