App shortcut icon disappeared

How do I restore the shortcut icon??

Do you have more details on what shortcut is missing? If you download the app from the App Store you should have an icon on your device.

Try uninstalling the eBay app and reinstalling it.

I can't uninstall something that is not there. That is my problem!!

Not the icon; the app itself.

Open your list of all apps from your Settings, and delete the eBay app there. Then restart the device, and install the latest version of the app.

The icon is gone but i can see it under settings with my other apps.  Im unable to do anything with it other than turn off and on, notifications and cellular data. I cant uninstall, then  reinstall,  because the icon is gone.  I can update the app from the app store, and i can access ebay/myebay from ebay.com, but cannot get the app ivon back!  So frustrating!
