Are you still able to sign in to your account using a browser?
Never heard of an open circuit error. Nothing turns up in a quick search.
Are you signing in with a username and password?
Try clearing your cache and data and then sign in again.
Or try signing in using your original email address as your username.

Thank you for your reply. Thanks for the idea of signing in with my original email. I tried it and I got the same error. My browser sin in works fine. The app seems to work fine except it won't let me see details of transactions, holds, or payouts. This is the error I received.
I tried messaging ebay, but getting a human is difficult. I may have to call them. Any other ideas?

The only other suggestion I have for the eBay app is to try to uninstall the eBay app, restart your device, and then install the latest version from the Google Play Store. The restart in between should ensure a clean install.

I also get that error. It does sometimes partly work but all I get is a blank page

The eBay app seems to be giving users problems when viewing payouts.
Try using a browser to view your payouts. If the eBay app is set to open eBay links automatically, you may have to temporarily disable that feature.
In an Android device, you can go to Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by Default: Open Supported Links and choose: "Don't allow app to open links". This should allow you to open eBay links in a browser without automatically opening the eBay app.

Eburton had a good idea I have yet to try. Yes, it's still doing it. It started Friday which was the 1st. I wonder if ebay was doing some sort if app maintenance and things went awry. They really need to know about it, but it's difficult to get ahold of anyone. I'm going to try what Eburton suggested. Keep posting any updates and I'll do you same thing. Take care!

I have been getting this for near a week and I tried restarting and clearing the catch and even reinstalling. But nothing has helped fix this. I know that it updated to the latest version yesterday if that helps.

I checked a few times a hour a go and everything is working according to ebay and is showing the green ✔ mark. This means there should not be any matenance going on.

Hi there. I wanted to let you know that I am able to view all my payment info via the classic site browser. The app however, is still a no go. I'm not sure what to do. I want to contact ebay about it. Given your experience, what's the best way to do that? Should I just email them or call them? Any ideas? I emailed the app email already and it directed me to this community thread. The app might have a virus or something. I hate to say it, but it's just weird that it's the payment part of the app and everything else works fine. Plus, others are having the same issue. I'm open to suggestions. Thanks for all your help!

eBay is most likely already aware of this issue -- there are many posts on the community discussion boards about it.
Posting about app issues on this board will often get a response from eBay folks here, though maybe not during weekends and holidays.
For non-app issues, contacting customer service directly through the Help pages is one option:
Use the "Contact us" link and follow the prompts for your issue and you should eventually wind up on a page with a chat option. Choose that, and the last option that appears in the chat window -- use the "See more" option -- should be "Contact an Agent" to request a call-back if you are in North America.

For some site issues regarding particular features not working, many My eBay pages have a "Tell us what you think" link in the upper right corner to report specific page problems. Info submitted that way should get to the page developers.
