App issues

Everytime I try to open the app I get a message saying this version is no longer operating and requires updating however I already have the latest version installed. Giving it the benefit of the doubt, I clicked to update which then takes me to the Google Play Store, however there was no updates available and it simple shows 2 buttons, 1 is to Uninstall & the other is to Open (this is on the app store page). If I don't click on Update when opening the app and opt to click on Cancel, it simply closes the app.

I am at a loss as to what to do.

Please can anyone assist, urgently?

According to a post on the UK community boards, the latest version of the eBay app requires Android 10 or later, or iOS 17 or later.

If you cannot upgrade your operating system or find an older version of the app that works with your current operating system, you should still be able to use a browser to go to ebay.co.uk instead.

If eBay browser links are opening in the Android version of the app automatically, you can disable that by going to your device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Opens supported links and choosing "Don't open in the app". iOS users can tap and hold an eBay browser link and choose "Don't open in the app".
