When I allow the ebay app to post notifications to the notification center and then I take note of the notifcations there and clear them, they are not cleared in the app. The app is still badged and when opened, the notifications are still displayed as new. This is not the behavior I'm used from all my other iOS apps. When explicitely clearing a notification in notification center, then this means "I have taken note of this, don't bother me with this again" and then this notification or message must not cause the app to be badged anymore or be displayed as new within the app.
