Android - "eBay has stopped." error. Constantly crashing when adding photos

When I attempt to add photos the app crashes. 

No matter if it is a new listing, or editing a draft. I can edit text fields, but once I click the photo + button it crashes.

The only suggestions I have are general ones:

Make sure you have the latest version of the eBay app (5.39.013).

If not, get the latest version from the Google Play Store.

Otherwise, try clearing cache and data. Then sign in and try again.

Or uninstall the eBay app, restart your device and then re-install.

Same here! I just now have the problem and researched it.

install eBay app then reinstalled solved my issue.

Same problem as soon as try to add photos app stops, annoying have items I want to get on there!
