Keep getting "There was an internal error. Please try restarting the app" whenever I try to look at saved searches. It started as I was already looking through saved searches. It also doesn't seem to update my unread messages to read after reading or deleting them. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and rebooting phone.

Another one here, unable to search without getting an error on Samsung S10e, Android 11, since this morning (28th - fine last night).

Same here. Did ALL the things. (Reboot, reinstall, restart, yadda-yadda-yadda.) NOTHING works on my Android. (PC is fine, so is my iPhone.)

OP here. I emailed the contact email listed on the Play Store app page a few minutes after starting this thread and got a response pretty quickly after getting an automated "this is an unmonitored email, go to the forums for help":
"This is being looked into. No need to restart or reinstall. It will start working properly without having to update the app."
So it appears to be something on their end. No ETA though.
Just now I tried a few searches. The first three loaded fine in the app, but starting up the fourth one and I get the Internal Error message again, and none of the searches work at all after that. This same thing happened when I tried about four hours ago too. (Pixel 2, Android 11 btw).

I'm also experiencing this! I've uninstalled and reinstalled, deleted cache, nothing. Please fix this, eBay!

Same issue on mine.
Please fix, I need to spend more money on something I don't need. 🙂

So I've searched all over the internet for a resolution to this problem and I have tried every suggestion that's been posted in the last 6 years. I just discovered that if I don't log into the eBay app I can do as many searches as I would like and it works just fine. But the moment I log into the app with my username and password I get exactly two working searches before it stops working and I get the error message. I'm nowhere near my max memory usage or storage on my phone. I have tried dozens of my other apps and none of them seem to have any problems.
Nobody from eBay has made a comment on this thread.
Please eBay customer support fix this problem!

Yup, just started happening to me 4/28. Tried deleting cache as well as reinstall. Saved searches broken.

Me too. Plain typed search same thing. An item from saved search results, same thing.

Additional problem noted this morning (4/28) is that Android notifications from drop down all have the same message, no matter the heading or subject.
Any search function or list review, such as seller's other items, produces the same error. Randomly, the first search may work after a period of inactivity, but all succeeding searches fail, including going back to the same search that was successful.
It may have something to do with list generation or management, but why all of a sudden is baffling.

I've found you can brute-force it by spamming through refresh button, but idk if that will cause more problems...

Problem IS most recent APP update. I manually update and this started immediately afterward. If ebay would rollback it would fix.
