In my Android app, the hamburger menu was removed from the top of my screen and instead I have an obnoxious menu bar stuck to the bottom with 5 giant icons. This bar clings to the bottom of seemingly every screen and I don't know how to get rid of it. It very much degrades the experience of looking through search results.
It just happened this afternoon. Maybe I'm part of some A/B testing for a UX change. If so, please revert the change, or give us an option to stick the menu bar on the top. The bottom menu bar is way too big, and I don't like having things stuck to the bottom of my screen. It's not a good experience when quickly looking through long lists of items. If the UX is looking for feedback, mine is decidedly negative.
