Access to custom lists in the app?

Will we ever get access to our custom lists in the app?

Hi @jbartelt! This isn't currently in the works but they're aware of the desire for custom lists to be available in the app, so thank you for this additional feedback.

Re: Access to custom lists in the app?

What a waste of users time with a half baked functionality. I spent time on a custom list that I can not access on the mobile app - where I do most of the transactions!

Re: Access to custom lists in the app?

Exactly! How stupid. Just started setting up custom lists after constantly getting nagged by notices on the website, encouraging organising watchlist items into custom lists, and now find they're useless on the app and have barely any functionality on the website!! What a waste of my time and attention - especially when it's the most prominent message repeated again and again when on the  watchlist page!

Re: Access to custom lists in the app?

This is why I’ve migrated away from using eBay for any thing of importance. They keep jacking up fees and giving out cow Pattie’s to end users. Not being able to use a long time well used proven Feature on the mobile app is simply a way for some manager who doesn’t like the feature to try and obsolete it. I only use the app for active auctions I’ve bid on if I’m away from home other wise I use the browser most of the time because again it gives me proper access and I can block it from collecting data for 3rd party companies eBay let’s place trackers on their pages.

Re: Access to custom lists in the app?

Just did the same thing…then realized I can’t access the lists on the app. Now I have to move the items in the lists back to the main watchlist, as I deleted them from there.

Re: Access to custom lists in the app?

It’s not clear how to find the custom lists even on the browser. Took me forever to find the “down arrow” beside the Watch List title.

I’d assumed it was similarly hidden in the app. More than annoyed that it’s not even available.
I don’t see why eBay want to pointlessly annoy their customers, but that’s what they’re doing.

Re: Access to custom lists in the app?

Then what is the purpose of having "custom lists"  if you can't even access them?

Seems rather counter intuitive.  Please fix this! Everyone  wants this & nobody is saying "no".

Wow. Just came here to find an answer. Assumed when the 1st post was c. 3 years ago - it must be fixed by now.

Hmm. Nope.

Good one ebay. Nice troll.

Re: Access to custom lists in the app?

poorly thought out UI/UX

It shocks me how people in these positions get paid for having such terrible designs…

what is even the reason for not including it in the final version of the app? It doesn’t make any sense. And if the design team is that incompetent to where they didn’t notice or forgot to add lists… eBay needs a new team asap.

Re: Access to custom lists in the app?

Just adding my voice to the throng. I was on the Ebay web site (a rare thing) going through my watch list and noticed the repeated prompt on the page to organise with custom lists so I did ... only to then find out that those lists are not viewable on the iOS app where I do 99% of my Ebay.

I am a programmer myself and it is beyond my comprehension how you can have a feature that you are still promoting on your web site (which, by the way, is desperately needed for long watch lists) which you cannot be bothered to put on the app.

This seems like eBay phoning it in!
