$10 on next order

2 days ago I logged on to ebay with my desktop computer. I immediately got a popup saying that if I download and install the ebay app onto my android phone I will get $10 off my next order. I did so with my android phone, found the item I was looking for, and placed my order. There was no $10 off. Today I got in touch with ebay customer service. Someone from the Phillipines called me back about the app. She said that I should have put in the coupon code when placing the order. I told her that there was no coupon code. She said she would give me a code to use with my next order of $50 or more to use if I use it today. I told her that was wrong. I have no intentions of placing any order today and the popup did not say $50 or more. She refused to acknowledge what I told her so I hung up and uninstalled the app from my phone. So apparently ebay  popups are just a ploy to get you to install their app on your phone.

Same here, I got a notification offering 10eur for my first purchase using the ebay app. Installed it, proceeded to a checkout and.. no coupon available. Bull**bleep**?

When you download the eBay app, a coupon code is copied to your clipboard. At checkout you should be able to tap the coupon entry field and select the coupon code shown at the top of your keyboard.
