Vintage rhinestones with twisted metallic metal not sure what this is

Hello everyone, these were picked up at a local estate; not sure what they would be for? Maybe a hat? blue and clear rhinestones with very meticulous work with metallic wire; any info would be great, thanks in advance, Mary

     Mary, well they are referred to as a embellishment. The maker went thru a lot of trouble making yours as they are quite stunning. I would guess that you are correct about the hat and a hat pin would be used to secure this piece.

     I would bet some crafters would jump at the chance to grab these pieces. If I were to list I would put them all together in a jewelry collectable lot and listing title would read:

     Vintage Rhinestone embellishments, floral wire, Blue and white stones.

in description, you could point out Estate purchase, no missing stones, wire intact....
