Very strange. I was told (through submissions to both ID Sites) the Pin Assembly is only rarely used on D&E. And when used it is on ones where there is a space issue.

So glad to see your post because when I saw the photo my first thought was definitely not D&E because of the pin back. I didn’t even think they rarely used them. I thought never.

I have been working with my Juliana D&E collection and using both the Is it Juliana Jewelry and training albums. I too have been trained that the pin back on this pin is rarely used. I would love to know where on the site this pin is shown as being verified. It would open up a few pins I have with this back I got the D&E tingle, but ignored it because of the pin back. TIA

In looking at the Set I am wondering if it is a Marriage.

I did a quick review on the ID Site uses Brooch, Navette with Pink and than Red. There were similar Brooches but I did not see this one.

Off to check for the Earrings.

Yep, I jumped the gun.. went back and looked again. The earrings are there, but the pin is a bit different than what I saw.. my old eyes deceiving me again. A marriage is the proper verification. Sorry ladies, next time I’ll put on my glasses and restrict myself to 1 glass of wine before I weigh in. 🤭

Not a problem. I agree with OCN that this is most likely a marriage. The earrings look like they are D&E, but the album would be a good place to look for them.
