Help with description/id'ing on this delicate necklace?

This is a beautiful, wonderfully made necklace.  Sterling, lapis, fw pearls...not sure when/where it came from or how to id it.  Any help would be lovely!

Very pretty! Those are fresh water pearls I think, my feeling is it is not very old, maybe 20 years or so, JMHO Smiley Happy

With the Granulation and the stone setting and the leaf work this looks like a Bali piece. Not sure what the style of necklace is called.

Are you sure this isn't an artisan piece created from what may have been a brooch or something else? (pearls and chain added?). Can you find areas where there may have been a pin back attached.

Thanks all, for your input!  No, don't think it was a brooch.  Looks a mite bit Southwesty to me as well but Bali is a good clue too.  Just not sure.  It's very nicely worked.

The little Balls of Metal is called Granulation and is pretty common in Bali Designs.

It's the wire wrap on the pearl elements that's looking like artisan work to me, very non-uniform.
