VCA is right up there with Bvlgari, Cartier, Hermes, and some of the top names in fine jewelry. The shape of the earrings is iconic to their brand. Status, for sure.
But my heart is with the Mexican bracelet. The lion earrings are cool, too.

I'm afraid you're spot on, Sandy. After 3 days of waiting for payment, I received a "Please cancel my bid. Sorry," message. This is why I do mostly BIN's. I don't know if you remember last summer I put up a Trifari piece that was bid up to $2200. Now I can't even give it away. Once a listing gets a lot of attention and is then listed again, people question why it's re-listed and it really tarnishes the item.
I'm not real thrilled with ebay's authenticity guarantee program, especially for costume jewelry. I have to wonder who is authenticating high end costume jewelry and how it's working out for buyers and sellers. I do my due diligence and shouldn't be second guessed by an unknown entity.
I have a 14k ring up right now. I listed it under $500 to avoid the authenticity guarantee program, and now they're offering the buyer an authentication for an extra $40. I don't see where ebay profits from this program since the seller isn't charged for the appraisal?
Anyway, I re-listed the Schreiner bug for $495 BIN and it sold right away. I wasn't about to list it on auction again!
One last thing... why doesn't ebay make winning bidders pay at the end of the auction? I realize they may have other items in their cart, but a winning bid should be paid for immediately in my opinion.

I hear you sister! It's why I have put accepting offers on all my pieces. At least they are required to pay right away so I'm more apt to get paid. I know what you mean about a piece being shown as sold and the reappearing. Been thinking about putting the fact the reason for the relist was a non-paying bidder in the description.

I don't wear them, but I appreciate cameos for their beauty and craftsmanship. I love the pink raised areas on that one.

Definitely a unique pendant!
Lovely cameo. Don`t think I`ve ever heard the term 'Crown of Thorns Setting' used before.

They can keep the cameo but I want the other two. I would wear either one.

That is how you say you have a book piece. I love Ciner jewelry. They are a lot like Heidi Daus, I love to look at it but wearing most of it is to heavy for me.
